“Mindful Eating”

Heal and nourish your body with food. Switching to real foods is key to having a healthy body.  Every meal you eat offers a new chance to build upon a clean lifestyle with minimally processed foods and fewer harmful ingredients.  Clean eating has some serious benefits; good health, culinary satisfaction, possible decreased risk of disease.

Ways to get started:

• Eliminate from your pantry corn oil and soda.  Both are highly processed; replace refined beans and pastas made from white flour

• If you’re an omnivore, buy meat that comes from grass-fed cattle and eggs from pasture-raised chicken

• Check labels to decrease highly processed foods

• Cook more meals at home

• Gather at the dinner table for a mindful meal

Try to eat natural food 80% of the time with a 20% buffer when traveling or socializing, or you just can’t stop putting organic and safe foods in your body will make you feel more energized and refreshed.

Certain nutrients are so powerful; they may help prevent specific diseases.  Alzheimer’s, obesity, heart disease just to name a few.  Eat lots of super foods like salmon, vegetables, beans, ginger, yogurt, nuts and seeds.  Clean eating doesn’t have to be expensive or time-consumer.  A vow of clean eating is a step toward having a body that looks and feels better than ever.  Build a strong body with your commitment to eat clean.

Vitamins and minerals are vital nutrients for bodily functions.  Most people did not consume enough of all vitamins by diet alone.  Vitamins and minerals build up your immune system, increase energy, enhance your appearance, and expand your intelligence.

Lastly, hydrate  . . . hydrate . . . hydrate.  Water is critical for all bodily functions.  Water is required to maintain muscle mass, and every chemical reaction in the body including the breakdown of body fat.  Water also helps rid the body of waste.  Water helps to suppress the appetite naturally.

There’s no way around this one.  If you want to achieve a healthier, leaner body, then you have got to get moving.

Great insight is provided by the above statement from Hippocrates.  Walking truly is an individual’s best medicine.  Walking is a type of preventive medicine that helps maintain your health.  Walking has often been called the perfect exercise because of its many advantages with benefits.  It’s no surprise that walking has grown as a popular form of exercise.

Physical exercise is any bodily activity that enhances or maintains physical fitness and overall health and wellness.  It’s preformed for various reasons including strengthening muscles and the cardiovascular vascular system, weight loss, maintenance and merely enjoyment.  Want to feel better, have more energy and perhaps even live longer.  Look no further than exercise. The benefits of regular exercise and physical activity are hard to ignore, regardless of your age, sex or physical ability.

Our body and our mind are connected.  Being active makes us happier, as well as being good for our physical health.

Exercise is a great way to have fun.  It give you a chance to unwind.  It can help you connect with family and friends.
